Stars at the Esplanade yesterday! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much because whatever live vids I’ve seen of them weren’t very impressive. But shit they were bloody good!

I thought A Thread Cut With A Carving Knife and Your Ex-Lover Is Dead were the best songs. Hearing everyone in the whole concert hall singing “Live through this/and you won’t look back” was just amazing, sent chills and thrills and pain pills down my spine.

But now I also like Reunion and What I’m Trying To Say – songs I used to think were pretty dull. Must’ve been the super guitar playing.

SETLIST, THANKS TO JASON:

OH and all of them are damn friendly! Not like that Ben Gibbard. Ben Gibbard next time you come you better be more cheerful. You’re gonna be marrying bloody Zooey Deschanel, you’d better be happy with your life.

In other news: I didn’t die from all the last-minute project work! And I did pretty well in common tests without any studying. I’m feeling good!

Then again maybe not.

I am trying to say
what I want to say
without having to say
I love you
